Owned and operated by a military family, we're very familiar with the challenges you face when shopping the Internet from abroad. Our mission is to insure you have the widest selection of quality merchants to shop from and the confidence that they'll deliver to Army Post Office (APO) & Fleet Post Office (FPO) destinations. 

We contact all retailers prior to listing them to ensure their shipping policy is within the scope of this directory.  Unfortunately, some retailers later change their shipping policy without notifying us.  If you find such a retailer, please let us know so we can take them off our site. 

We believe you shouldn't pay third party shipping services to support a retailer who doesn't value you as a customer just because you have an APO/FPO address.  We also recognize that there are times when unique, hard to find items (car, computer, & appliance parts) are not found from a vendor on our website.  Because of this, Shop APO FPO.com also offers free product search and APO/FPO forwarding on a limited case by case basis.  If you have difficulty locating that certain website, please contact us with our request.  In many cases, we're able to work an agreement between you and the retailer or forward the package to a specific APO/FPO address at no additional charge.

We Donate our profits!  We support the many non-profit military organizations that support you through donations or in partnership with many of our merchants. It's our way of returning your support while serving overseas. What is an APO/FPO address?   From the USPS Handbook PO-630; "Post Offices Serving DOD Installations":  "APO/FPO Mail - domestic mail and international mail that bears a U.S. military delivery address or return address and that, in some stage of its transmission, is in the possession of the Department of Defense . This is mail that is being sent to or received from military installations located outside the Continental United States (CONUS). This mail may be official or personal in nature. This mail is centralized at certain locations such as San Francisco and New York for transport overseas..."

Question: What is the proper format for a military address?

Answer: Instead of a city and state, these addresses use APO (Army Post Office) or FPO (Fleet Post Office), along with "AE" (mail going to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and portions of Canada), "AP" (the Pacific) and "AA" (for the Americas and portions of Canada). Therefore, the bottom line of overseas military addresses is: APO or FPO; followed by AE, AP, or AA; and then the ZIP Code.
